All of us at A Musical Advent were shocked and heartbroken to learn recently of the tragic, untimely death of our highly respected and much loved colleague and friend, Emma Murphy.
Emma was not only one of the finest musicians of her generation, she was also one of the kindest, most enthusiastic, warm and joyful people any of us have had the pleasure to spend time with. She will be so deeply missed, and all of us are holding her family in our thoughts.
This year, we have not prepared a new Advent Calendar: instead we are presenting the videos which Emma created and contributed to over the last 2 years, along with some other highlights from our 2021 and 2022 calendars. We would like to encourage anyone who feels moved to do so to donate to Lupus UK in Emma's memory.
